The Hartford Nationals, conducted by Move United, stands as the largest and longest-running national sports championship event in the United States for athletes with physical disabilities, visual impairments, or intellectual disabilities. Entering its 69th year of celebrating athletic excellence, this premier weeklong event serves as a crucial stepping stone in the athlete pipeline, with many competitors moving on to represent the country at the international and Paralympic levels.
The event features highly competitive divisions across multiple sports—including track and field, swimming, archery, shooting, para powerlifting, paratriathlon, and wheelchair tennis—alongside various sport clinics and educational development opportunities.
